Redefining Girls' Space
MTC EDUCATE A Girl INC. (MTC) is a non-profit organization started by a girl to support other girls. MTC operates in rural and peri urban areas of Zimbabwe. We support girls’ and women living in rural communities through innovative initiatives that promote education, health, girls' sports participation and entrepreneurship. Our lead operations are in Nhedziwa, where we have under construction the MTC Study Center, that houses the only community library in the Chimanimani District. MTC boasts of one of the largest grassroot girls soccer programs in the district. We invest in community activities in the Chimanimani District, and actively engages in advocacy and policy influencing work at the national, regional and global levels though the Founder's involvement with United Nations Generation Equality Forum.
